PRONicaragua, the official investment and export promotion agency of the Government of Nicaragua, will be hosting the first annual Central American Nearshore Summit 2013. This unprecedented event will take place in Managua, Nicaragua on November 7th and 8th and will be coordinated with the Central American investment promotion agencies, including Invest in Guatemala, PROESA (El Salvador), FIDE (Honduras) and CINDE (Costa Rica). This will be the first time the agencies will be promoting the entire region as a destination for investment, facilitating valuable information on nearshore destinations and offering a networking platform with industry experts.
Central America stands out as an attractive emerging destination since it offers excellent investment opportunities for companies looking to expand their operations in order to increase their global competitiveness.
The conference program will include presentations by industry experts and renowned companies established in Central America who will discuss topics of interest, such as industry trends in Latin America, destination selections and the opportunities offered by the region for foreign direct investment. The conference will offer a business matchmaking session, which will provide an opportunity for foreign and regional companies to establish key contacts and alliances.

The event will also feature booths from the regions investment promotion agencies which will facilitate on-the-spot interaction with outsourcing investment advisors whom will be available to answer any questions participants may have prior or during the event.
